稽古日報　07/06/30

今日の松江は日中は雨が降りませんでしたが、梅雨らしくどんよりとした曇り空でした。 今日の稽古参加者は少年部１４名、青年部１１名の合計２５名。少しずつ参加者が減ってきているような気がしますが、最近暑くなってきたからでしょうか？ 稽古内容は、準備体操、その場の基本で小休止。 小休止後は各レベルに分かれての稽古。 白帯は出雲支部支の小村支部長、橙帯は先週初段に合格された狩野さん、緑帯から紫帯は青木指導員、茶帯はヘザーさんがそれぞれ指導にあたり、私は高橋支部長と共に全体を観ることになりました。 今回から急に全体を観るように言われた私ですが、一体どうすれば良いのやら？勝手が分からないまま皆の周りをウロウロしておりましたが、とりあえず目に付いた人から指導の補助をしようと思い、順突きで運足が上手く出来ていない子供に指導をしたところ、ふてくされてなま返事を返されてしまいました。思わず、「くぅぉーのぉーーー！」と思いましたが、ここで私が感情的になってしまっても何も良いことは無いと冷静になり、指導を最後まで続けた後、他の稽古をしている子供達の方へ移動。 今度は褒めることに重点を置きながら指導をしました。最初に褒めてから指導すると、子供にもよるのでしょうが、相手もこちらのアドバイスを受け入れやすくなりますね。中には何の反応も見せない子供もいますが、心の中は分かりません。難しいところですね。 各レベルとも移動稽古、型を稽古し、１９時５０分迄のところで少年部は稽古終了。 青年部は引き続き稽古を続行。 各自、自分の課題の型、組手を稽古し、最後は二人一組になり、自由な構えから上段追い突きを三本づつ攻撃し、受ける方は自由に受けて反撃。騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。
Today there were 25 of us training - 14 children and 11 adults. It seemed like there were fewer of us than usual. Is that because it has got hotter I wonder? We started with a warm up and basics and then split into our different levels. Omura sensei taught the white belts, Karino san, who got his black belt last week, taught the orange belts, Aoki sensei taught the green to purple belts and Heather taught the brown belts. Myself and Takahashi sensei watched the overall class. I was suddenly told to do this, and at first I had no idea what to do, so I wandered around and corrected any mistakes that I saw. When I went to correct one of the children they answered me back. I decided not to make an issue out of it and continued to teach, then moved on to another group. I decided to praise the children more, as I think if you praise them from the start, although this depends on the individual, they take the advice quite well. With some of them however, it is difficult to tell. After practicing kata the children finished around 19:50. The adults continued training, practicing kata and kumite, and then at the end we paired up and practiced defending from 3 consecutive straight punches.We finished with punching from kiba dachi stance.
