稽古日報　06/05/13

今日の松江は雨が降る寒い一日でした。気温は上がったり下がったり体調の維持が大変です。 さて、先週行われた近畿大会の結果ですが、支部長より「組手に出場した吉松君が３位入賞し、他の二人も勝利までもう少し！というところまで健闘した。」とのご報告がありました。 週一回の稽古ですので、なかなか大会で勝つのは難しい状況ですが、みんな頑張ったようですね。えらい！ 本日の稽古参加者は、少年部１２名、青年部１１名の合計２３名。 稽古内容は、準備体操、その場の基本で小休止。 今回、その場の基本では逆突きの稽古に重点を置きました。 小休止後は、各レベルに分かれての移動稽古。 私は審査が近い少年部の子供達４人を指導することになりました。 今回は審査課題の移動稽古を稽古しましたが、審査を受けるにはまだまだ稽古をする必要があり、支部長との協議の結果、審査は来月に行うことになりました。 残された期間でどこまで上達出来るか、また、指導する方は上達させられるか頑張りどころですね。 少年部は１９時４０分頃に稽古終了。 青年部は引き続き稽古を続行。 基本一本組手のあと、型を稽古。最後に全員で五本組手、騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。 以前から少年部で元気が無い子供が何人かおり、私は原因が分からなかったのですが、支部長によると「難しい年頃であったり、新しい兄弟が産まれて心が不安定になりその影響が原因ではないか。」とのこと。 子供も子供なりにいろいろ大変なんですね。デリケートな部分は、周りの大人が大きな気持ちで受け止めてあげる必要があるようですね。大変勉強になりましたが私にどこまで出来るのか？。今後の課題です。
Today we heard the results of last week's Kinkitaikai tournament. Takahashi sensei told us that Yoshimatsu kun got 3rd place in the kumite, and it won't be long before the other two competitors will win! We only practice once a week so it is difficult to win tournaments, but they all tried thier best! Today there were 23 of us - 12 children and 11 adults. Training started with a warm up and then basics, concentrating on reverse punch. We then split into our different levels, with myself teaching the 4 children who will grade soon. We practiced the basics that are part of the grading syllabus, but it was decided by Takahashi sensei that more practice is necessary before the grading, so we decided the grading will be held next month. We have to see how much they can improve and how much their teacher can get them to improve before the grading. The children then finished training at 19:40. The adults continued training, practicing kihon ippon kumite and then kata. We all then finished with 5 step sparring and punching from kiba dachi stance. There have been a few children who seem really down and lack energy recently. I had no idea why, but according to Takahashi sensei they are entering a difficult period and as new brothers and sisters are born they start to feel a little unsettled. In this delicate time it's up to us adults to help them through it. How much can I help? I will study from now on.
