稽古日報　06/06/03

今日の松江は曇りで少々寒い一日でした。先週も寒く、最近週末は天候に恵まれません。 本日の稽古参加者は少年部１２名、青年部１１名の合計２１名。 本日の稽古内容は、準備体操、その場の基本で小休止。 小休止のあとは各レベルに分かれての稽古。 私は６月１７日に昇級審査を受ける少年部を指導。（茶帯の子供は小村先生が担当） 先週とは違い青年部は吉松先生が指導され、私が指導するのは少年部のみということで人数も減り（５人）全員に目が行き届くようになりました。 しかし、来週は武道館が使用出来ないため稽古がお休みになりますので、審査までに私が指導出来るのは本日のみであるのにもかかわらず、「ぼく、審査はもうバッチリだよー」という態度で稽古しながら審査課題を多々間違える子や、「審査受けるよ！で、何すれば良いの？」といった子供もいて（神経質過ぎる子供よりもいいかもしれませんが。。。）、指導する方のプレッシャーは先週以上のモノがありました（私が小学生の頃は１クラス４０人位いましたが、それを仕切る先生は大変だったろうと思います。特に最近の子供は授業中にやりたい放題する子もいるようなので、尚更大変でしょうね）。 そのような状況の中、基本、組手、型（型は支部長にご指導して頂きました。）の審査課題を一通り稽古し、１９時４０分を過ぎたところで少年部は稽古終了しましたが、「居残り稽古」を希望する子供もおり、結局一番遅くまで稽古した子供は、青年部と一緒に２０時３０分で稽古終了。 青年部の稽古の最後は自由一本組手（中段逆突き）と騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。 少年部の審査間際でのドタバタは毎回審査が近づくたびに同じことを繰り返しています。今回の審査が終わったら、次回審査（９月）に向けて稽古内容を変えていこうと思います（え？お前はいつも同じことをいっているって？いやいや、今回は本氣ですよ！もちろん私の手の及ぶ範囲ですが。。。）。
Today was a little cold like last week, and there 21 of us training today - 12 children and 11 adults. We started with a warm up and basics practice before a short rest. We then split into our different levels, with myself training the children who will take their grading on the 17th. (Omura sensei taught the brown belt.) Yoshimatsu sensei taught the adults so I was able to work with the children in a small group (5), and so could help them all. However, next Saturday we are unable to use the Budokan and so there will be no practice, which means there is only today's practice before the grading. Some of the children who were making mistakes in the grading syllabus were saying 'Grading? No problem - I'll sail through it', whereas some children were saying 'Grading?' What should I do?' (Maybe they are a little too nervous...), and so I felt there was more pressure than last week. (When I was in elementary school, there were 40 of us in my class. It must have been really tough on the teacher to separate us all. Especially nowadays when children do what they want to do, it must be really hard.) We did basics, kumite and kata (Takahashi sensei taught the kata), and went through the grading syllabus before the children finished at 19:40. There were some children who wanted to stay behind and train, and the last one to finish stayed on until the adults finished at 8:30. The adults finished with jiyu ippon kumite (chudan gyakuzuki) before finishing with punching in kiba dachi stance. Before a grading, the practice is always the same. When this one is over, I am thinking of changing the way of practicing before the next grading in September. (Yes, I know I have said it before, but this time I'm serious!)
