稽古日報　06/10/21

本日の松江は先週と同様に素晴らしくいい天気でした。 今日の参加者は、少年部１1名、青年部１１名の合計２２名。 今日は稽古が始まる前に、大阪へ旅立ったジャスティンがひょっこりと遊びに来てくれました。この週末に大阪の友人を連れて松江に訪れているとのことでした。
There were 22 of us training today - 11 children and 11 adults. Before training we were all suprised to see Justin, who was up from Osaka for the weekend with a friend.
相変わらず陽気な男前のジャスティンです。みんなと久しぶりの再開を喜びましたが、初めて会う少年部の子供達にもすぐに打ち解けて人氣者となっていました。

稽古内容は、準備体操、その場の基本の後小休止。 小休止後は各レベルに分れての稽古。 筒井さんは白帯を、小村先生は黄帯を、私はヘザーさんと橙帯から上の人達の指導にあたりました。 橙帯から黒帯の皆さんは移動の基本を中心に、組手、少年部は型を稽古。 相変わらず子供の中には途中で弱音を吐く子もいましたが、お構いなしに稽古をすすめると、きちんと最後まで付いて来ていました。やれば出来るのです。 少年部は１９時４０分ごろに稽古終了。
We started with a warm up and then basics practice, after which we split into our different levels. Tsutsui san taught the white belts, Omura sensei taught the yellow belts, and myself and Heather taught the orange belts and above. We started with basics, moved on to kumite and then the children practiced kata. The children then finished at 19:40.

青年部は引き続き稽古。 明日松江の空手大会に出場する少年部の松尾君も居残りで稽古。 お父さんも一緒に稽古をしているので普段から居残り稽古をしている彼ですが、今日は明日の大会に向けての最終調整ですので、指導する方にも氣合が入っておりました。
The adults continued training, and Matsuo kun, who will take part in the tournament tomorrow also stayed behind. He normally stays behind anyway as his father is training too, but as today was the last practice before the tournament, we worked hard with him.
大会と同様に板の間での稽古。なかなか決まっていますね！良い感じです。

青年部は青帯から茶帯の皆さんは、高橋支部長の指導の元自由組手（競技組手）を軽く練習されていました。 基本の稽古をすることが多い松江支部では、普段競技組手の稽古はあまりしませんので、自由に攻撃・防御が出来る状況で、皆さん最初の内はおっかなびっくりという感じでしたが、次第に慣れてきた様子で楽しんで稽古をされていたようです。 でも画像をみると、支部長が一番楽しそうですね。

As we practice mainly basics here we are not used to the tournament style of fighting where you have to attack and defend freely, and at first they were a little suprised by it. However, they managed to get the hang of it and looked like they were having fun. But looking at the picture, it looks like Takahashi sensei is having the most fun!
防具を付けての攻防。「軽く70％位の力でやりましょう！」ということなんですが、ついつい勝負にこだわってしまうものです。やっぱり負けたくないという気持ちになってしまうのでしょう。 しかし、高橋支部長は楽しそうですね。
They were told to practice lightly - at around 70%, but they gave their best efforts. People don't like losing! The teacher looks like he is having fun.
その他の皆さんは各自自分の課題（組手、型）を稽古し、最後は全員で五本組手と、騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。 松江支部も多くの方が競技組手の練習が出来るまでレベルアップしてきました。 日頃からコツコツやればきちんと成長しているものなんですね。この調子で今後は大会にもチャレンジしていければ良いですね。 さて、大会といえば明日の松江市の空手大会では松尾君は日頃の鍛錬の成果を発揮出来るでしょうか。。。
Everyone else practiced kata and kumite, and then we finished with 5 step sparring and punching from kiba dachi stance. The more we practice tournament fighting, the more we will improve. We should practice little by little and have a go at the next tournament. Speaking of tournaments, how did Matsuo kun get on.....
ということで大会の画像です。 手前の右側が松尾君ですが、結果は一回戦、二回戦と勝ち進み、三回戦では敗れましたが、松濤館らしいダイナミックな型を披露してくれました。 応援に駆けつけていたご家族の皆さんもおおいに盛り上がり、二回の勝利にご満足されていました。 また、松江の空手関係者の方々にも国際松濤館松江支部を大きくアピールしてくれたものと思います。 よく頑張った！
The tournament. Matsuo kun is on the right. He got through the 1st and 2nd rounds, but unfortunately lost in the 3rd. He did however give a dynamic performance showing the characteristics of the Shotokan stlyle. His family were all there to give him some support, and they were satisfied with his wins in the 1st and 2nd rounds. He did very well and showed off the style of SKIF Matsue branch. Well done!
