稽古日報　08/04/19

	本日の松江は良い天気でした。しかし朝晩はまだ寒いですね。 稽古参加者は、少年部２０名、青年部１４名の合計３４名。 最近青年部には出雲支部の黒帯の方や他流派の方が稽古に来られており、これ迄よりも少し緊張感があり良い雰囲気です。 さて、本日の稽古ですが、稽古に使用している武道館の柔道場では畳み上げの作業が行われており、稽古開始時刻を過ぎても終わらなかったため、観客席での挨拶・礼、準備体操とその場の基本となりました。 小さいスペースでもわりと何とかなるのが空手の稽古の良い所ですね。自宅の小さなスペースでも上手く利用したり稽古内容を工夫すれば稽古が出来ますので、空手の稽古が出来ない理由というのはある意味ただの「言い訳」になってしまいますね。 その場の基本の後は小休止。 小休止の後は各レベルに分かれての稽古。私は茶、黒帯の少年部を指導することになりました。 まずは移動基本を稽古。基本中の基本である順突き、逆突き、前蹴り等を稽古した後、昇級審査課題を少し稽古。 その後は二人一組となり、自由一本組手の前蹴り（No.１）を稽古。最初はゆっくりと号令に合わせてやり、最後は交互に攻守を入れ替えてなるべく沢山の量を稽古出来るようにしてみました。 組手の後は型・抜塞大の稽古。まだ最後まで憶えていない子供もいましたので、こちらも最初は号令に合わせてやり、最後は無号令でやってみました。憶えたての子供は最後は訳が分からなくなっていたかもしれませんが、すぐに覚えることでしょう。少年部は１９時４０分過ぎに稽古終了。 青年部は引き続き稽古を続行。一部の子供達（お父さんの稽古が終わるのを待っている）も来週の審査のため居残りで稽古に参加。 審査を受ける方達は審査課題を中心とした稽古を、居残り組の子供達のお父さん方は、自分達の稽古は後回しで子供達の稽古をみてあげていました。その他の方は各自自分の課題を稽古し、最後は青年部全員で自由組手、五本組手、騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。
There were 34 of us training today - 20 children and 14 adults. Recently black belts from the Izumo branch and other styles have been training which has created a good atmosphere. We did the warm up and basics in the audience area today as the mats were being taken up in the hall. Being able to practice in such a small space is one of karate's good points. You can practice in a small space in your own home too, so saying you are unable to practice is just an excuse. After a short break we split into our different levels and I took the brown and black belt children. We started with basics - punching and kicking and then did a little practice for the next grading. We then practiced jiyu ippon sparring (front kick), starting slowly at first and then switching from attack and defence to get in as much practice as possible. We then practiced the kata Bassai Dai. There are still some children who can't remember it, but we started practicing with a count and then at the end they went through the kata themselves. The children may not be able to get through it now but I'm sure they will soon learn it. The children then finished at 19:40. The adults continued training, and some of the children stayed to practice for their gradings next week. Some people practiced for the grading and others did their own practice before finishing with freestyle sparring, 5 step sparring and punching from kiba dachi.

こちらも居残り稽古の息子さんに指導されるお父さんです。息子さんが大人になったら親子の良い思い出になるのかなぁ。なんだか良いですね。
