稽古日報　08/05/24

	本日の松江は、昨夜から降り出した雨が一日中降り続いておりました。まだ梅雨には早いのですが、少し梅雨のような感じでしたね。 稽古参加者は、少年部２１名、青年部１４名、出雲支部から１名の合計３６名。 稽古内容は、準備体操、高橋支部長による平安型（四段、五段）の稽古で小休止。 小休止の後は、とうとう明日に迫った大会に向けて最後の稽古。私はこれまでと同様に小学五年生以上の組手の予選種目となる自由一本組手と型を指導することになりました。 まずは組手の稽古から。前回迄の稽古で上段・中段追い突きのNo.１・２は形になりつつありましたので、今週は身体に憶えさせるため、数を多くこなすことにしました。 二人一組となり交互に攻防を行い、一分毎に相手をかえるという稽古をしました。 しかし、一週間振りの稽古で、忘れてしまっているような子供もおりましたので、そのような子達には指導をしながら、途中で休憩をはさみ左右とも稽古して組手は終了。 組手の後は型の稽古。先週迄と同様に、私は平安四段をやる子供達を指導しました。 この子供達は大会に出場するのは初めての子供ばかりでしたので、大会の「予行練習」として、名前を呼ばれてコートに入るところから型をやり退場するところまで、一通りとおして稽古しました。これで明日の大会はバッチリ（？）でしょう。 １９時５０分頃に少年部は稽古終了。 青年部は引き続き大会に向けての稽古。大会に出場しない方は各自自分の課題を稽古。 私は明日の大会に向けて居残りで稽古を続ける子供達と一緒に、先の「予行練習」をしながら型の稽古をしました。 最後は全員で騎馬立ちでの正拳突きで稽古終了。
Today the rain continued signalling the early start of the rainy season. There were 36 of us training today - 21 children and 14 adults. We started with a warm up and then practiced the katas Heian Yondan and Heian Godan before taking a short break. After the break we practiced for the tournament which will be held tomorrow, starting with kumite. Continuing on from last week we practiced the No. 1 and 2 patterns of jiyu ippon kumite which form the preliminary rounds for the children and adults. There were some children who had forgotten these patterns however so while teaching them we practiced both left and right sides before moving on to kata practice. As last week I taught Heian Yondan. As they have never been in a tournament before we practiced how to enter and exit the arena etc. The children then finished training at 19:50. The adults continued training for the tournament and I continued teaching some of the children who stayed behind. We then finished by punching from kiba dachi stance.

さて、ここからは簡単ながら大会のご報告となります。 松江支部・出雲支部からは合計２０名を超える参加となりました。 競技では型の途中で固まってしまう困った指導員もいましたが（あれ？だれでしたっけ？）、優勝は逃したものの、２位、３位入賞者も数名出るなど大活躍でした。 また、他の松濤館流に接して刺激を受けたのではないでしょうか。今後の稽古に活かして欲しいと思います。 参加されたみなさん。お疲れ様でした。来年には第二回大会もあると思いますので、より高いレベルを目指して稽古に励みましょう。
So, the tournament results... 20 people from the Matsue and Izumo branches took part, and although no-one won, there were some 2nd and 3rd places. It was good to compete against other Shotokan clubs and I hope we can improve for the tournament next year.
